I’ve been a proud member of this wonderful club since I could walk and talk. Special moments watching Birch play his 1st game, 50th game, 100th game. Thank you for bringing my ‘Hawks’ to Tassie., their second home.

This year marks 25 years of Hawthorn in Launceston, a milestone that reflects a deep and enduring partnership.
It’s a chance to look back on the moments, memories, and connections that have brought club and community together. Across those years, the connection has come to represent something deeper than football alone.

Home Ground: 25 Years of Hawthorn in Launceston is a special exhibition celebrating the enduring connection between the Hawthorn Football Club and the Launceston community.
From memorable home games to historic milestones, the exhibition brings together rarely seen memorabilia, treasured moments and the people who helped shape this remarkable partnership.
Open 26 June - 2 August. Free entry.

Hawthorn's connection with Launceston extends far beyond AFL matches, with the Club delivering community programs, engaging with local schools and supporting initiatives that inspire young people and strengthen community connections throughout the year.
